This policy explains what Foretrust Funding collects when you use this website or apply for funding, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
When you submit an application we collect the business and owner information you enter, including business name, address, contact details, industry, time in business, revenue figures and the amount requested. If you attach bank statements, we receive those documents. We also collect basic technical information such as IP address and browser type through standard web server logs.
What we do not collect on this site
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank login credentials or account numbers through this website. If any of those become necessary later in underwriting, they are collected through a separate secure process, never through a web form.
How we use it
We use your information to evaluate your funding request, to contact you about it, to meet legal and regulatory obligations, and to improve how the site works. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us operate, such as email and hosting providers, and with funding partners when a file is placed outside our own capital. We share information with regulators, law enforcement or courts where required by law. Partners receive only what is needed to evaluate the file.
Communications and consent
By submitting an application you agree we may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing contact is not a condition of receiving funding, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly.
How long we keep it
We retain application records and supporting documents for as long as needed to service the relationship and to satisfy legal, tax and regulatory retention requirements, and then dispose of them securely.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Residents of certain states have additional rights under state privacy law. Contact us at info@foretrust-funding.com to make a request.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
